guess the rebutal of spurs penny pinching offer for Arshavin means they are going to be less likely to sell Berbatov
do you think an alternative is being looked for or do we keep fingers crossed about injuries until january?
Why would you say penny-pinching?
£16million is a lot of money for a player that has been relatively unknown and only came good in this year's Euro's.
My suggestion ( and I hope I don't sound too sexist when I say this ) is stick to watching hockey or ladies figure-skating & leave the football talk to people who know what they are talking about!!!

I say penny pinching because first offer was refused and then they offer even less...and yes you are beingf sexisat in the vain attempt that it will make spurs appear less penny pinching...problem for you is it just underlines that you don't have a logical answer.....
As for whether we showed any interest in berbatov too many coincidences. but hows about an answer to the original question, given the very shortness of time before the deadline, do we rush someone else in, wait till january or the whole season
