    Great Aerial Game

Not only this game, but Manchester has improved greatly in this aerea. First half of the season Valencia only threw low-crosses and our strikers were not goods using their heads, aerial goals could only came from Fletcher or Vidic and some volleys.

Now Rooney has improved so much in this area compared to last season when he didn't score not even once with his head, and Valencia is crossing so much more.

This has improved a lot the way United attack because now we have more options. I am only hoping more of our very talented attackers can also start showing what can they do.

    • Rooney certainly used his head last night but I thought more credit for both of his goals should go to Valencia. Was that first cross genius, fluke or both?

      • I was there, it was right in front of where we were sat, you could see him look up before he put it in. The fact it was inch perfect might have been a fluke, but he defo meant it.

Was great to have Vidic back. Foster pulled off a couple of "camera" saves but really didn't have much to do. My only negative comment on him was that we were sat relatively close and couldn't hear him speaking to his defenders, which VDS does really well.
