all their remaing 5 matches, there is a strong liklihood they will win the title. United would need 11 points from 4 games, as City would most likely have a better GD. Thats 4 wins. Leaving aside the fact that every match is difficult at this stage, the Everton game stands out. They are in fine form, their ex-United players will want to perform for all sorts of reasons. This one looks crucial and difficult, and I wouldn't want to go to Sunderland and O'Neil needing to win on the last day.
You could make out a good case for saying its in City's hands now. I hope they think so, and get mighty nervous.
If City win the Premiership, I'll be very surprised.
Without a doubt Fergie will whinge on so much over the Wigan match that every official will be doing their best to please him and ensure Man U don't lose another game this season.
Of course those brown bung envelopes will also help matters!
You could be right. Of course there are a lot of ifs but City will have gained confidence from last nights results - both their form and the belief that United are getting nervous.
I was saying before last night's match that the title wasn't won and Wigan will put up a great fight and could get a win or draw, as they have found some good form. United have looked ordinary at home alot this season. Villa and Everton will both be stubborn opponents and we'll have to be sharp to win both.
