I didn't think Rooney was that great as he kept mispassing at vital moments or trying daft shots. His goal saved him.
Yeah, his effort was 100% as usual, but it wasn't coming together for him for much of the match.
Worryingly he seemed much better and more relaxed once RVP had departed. I hope his silly comments about the dressing room haven't disturbed their relationship, because he just couldn't pass to a red shirt for much of the first 60 minutes.
His passing for the first 60 or so mins was definitely off but, from that point on, he was excellent. His vision for Kagawa's second was superb.
What will save him will be a first class performance against Madrid. If not he can pack his f*cking bags and p*ss off!
Surely you are not suggesting ManU part with Rooney after how many YEARS of tutoring from SLUR, leaving the club reliant on Van Persie the product of Wenger and ARSENAL!?!?!?
