I've just read the right up from the BBC website about the game away to Sunderland today, judging by the stats it was a very hard fought contest, I do have to pick fault with Mr Davies though, he actually said that the club (Sunderland) the manager and the fans are tonight very fortunate that Derby did not beat them, he even said that Derby had 24 chances to Sunderlands 4...totally incorrect, was our manager at the right game?
Sunderland v Derby County
59.3% Possession 40.7% 2 Goals Scored 1 13 Attempts on Goal 7 7 Shots on Target 3 4 Shots off Target 2 2 Blocked Shots 2 6 Corners Won 5 9 Fouls Conceded 22 1 Offsides 0 2 Yellow Cards 2 0 Red Cards 0
Maybe someone should point the above out to Mr Davies, if we are to get promoted we need to have a reality check when it comes to our performances. Sunderland are no slouch, they are a well drilled and organised side, as you'd expect under Mr Keane.....
Lets see who has the best run in and only time will tell!
