Loose yes Tom but last season he proved how valuable he is, scores and creates goals, but his big asset was his defensive attributes, he has matured since the Bristol farce :)
We don't need to sell Gradel - if we do, I hope it is for circa £15M. However, the way things seem to be shaping up, i suspect Simon will be using a more defensive strategy next term and Maxi will not get the look in he had last season. Therefore, with Sam waiting in the wings, so to speak, an outrageous deal could be good business. Nevertheless, it will send another negative message to Leeds' support and that, for certain, will not be good business practice.

As Max has only one year left on his contract no one will pay over the odds for a player in his position. I would see them offering no more than 3 million at the most. They may of course be prepared to offer money and one of theirs. If I were Bates I would be cheeky and say yes with Parker thrown in on loan for a year, providing that they foot the bill for his salary.
