    Focus back on the pitch

    The attendance should be circa 11K. 7162 tickets have been sold to Donny and 3766 to Leeds fans - NB adult tickets £27, junior tickets £15 and £10, for under 11s!
    If you believe The Sun, Carlos Tevez will be playing for Donny - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3857888/Troubled-Carlos-Tevez-in-transfer-to-Doncaster-Rovers.html
    Disregarding the ridiculous, a resurgent Donny has the potential to cause Leeds serious problems. Rovers have pace in attack, and Dean Saunders has been working on improving a defence that Leeds had trouble breaching (until Ramon Nunez scored a couple of wonder goals) during the Carling Cup clash.
    How Simon Grayson sets up his side will be vital in denying Donny an historic victory over Leeds at the Keepmoat.
    White, Keogh, O’Dea, Forssell, and Vayrynen have all been on international duty. They will not have had time to train with the club and may be tired; therefore, it may not be smart to include them in the starting XI – although we will miss Aidy’s pace.
    My line up would be:
    Connolly, Lees, Kisnorbo (C), Pugh;
    Snodgrass, Clayton, Sam;
    Nunez, Becchio, McCormack.
    Subs: Rachubka, Brown, Howson, Bromby, and Forssell.
    Of course, SG will not drop Johnny, and there is still doubt about Snoddy’s fitness, so I can see the team being:
    Connolly, Lees, Kisnorbo, Pugh;
    Howson (C), Clayton, Sam;
    Keogh, Becchio, McCormack.
    Subs: Rachubka, Brown, Nunez, Bromby, and Forssell.
    If Leeds can pin Donny in its own half, the result could be a 0-2+ victory. If not, a 2-2 draw will be a welcome outcome!

    • I think it is a prime opportunity for SG to start Nunez with his confidence high after signing a new, long-term deal, and a great opportunity to introduce Becchio back into the starting lineup in place of Keogh. Sam, as much as I would love to see it, won't get a start and will be lucky to make the match squad - SG doesn't seem to rate him at all.

      Unfortunately we all know that SG will not think the same as us, and Howson, Snoddy and White are likely to start even if they are not 100% because SG does not seem prepared to make hard decisions on selection. More likely is that he will come out after a lacklustre draw and saw "The boys were still a bit tired from international duty and as a result were as bit flat", but hopefully I'm wrong. Clean sheet priority!
