    • Had enough chances in the first half, difference between Brum and Leeds is they could shut the defence at one nil,(like posted before one nil to the Arsenal) where as we need at least 2 goals to win a game these days. Aidy White MOM.

    • Birmingham are proving to be the in the form team in our division and are very difficult to breakdown and beat, a bit like the Arsenal of old.We had our chances and failed to convert them into goals. I posted earlier that I thought we would beat them by the odd goal. I think If we had scored first it would have drawn them out into a more open game as they seem to bide their time and are not panicked into errors. If they spend some money on a class striker and and a creative midfield player they would be a good bet for automatic promotion IMO considering they have games in hand. As for us although we lost in was no disgrace as for much of the game the common consensus was we were the better team . Sundays game will be a hugely pivotal game for us.Win and we maintain our momentum and lay the "bogey" to rest and more importantly push back a fellow promotion contender.
      MOT as ever.

      • The big plus for you guys, Nige, is the guy steering the boat, Chris Hughton. He's got an aura of a respect gather about him from players and fans. Hope you guys give him the time to build his platform.
Tom and the guys on here for me are feeling the frustration that Simon Grayson surely is. He got them to the premier door but received little help financially to push on, hence maybe a spirit reaction from the squad. If I were Bates I wouldn't take Grayson for granted for much longer, because other clubs are taking note.
