From the Mail Online today:
“Leeds strike it lucky as Championship side close in on Rogers signing
Leeds are set to beat a host of clubs to the signing of USA striker Robbie Rogers.
Capped 18 times, Rogers, 24, is a free agent after his contract expired with Columbus Crew.
He impressed Leeds boss Simon Grayson during a recent Elland Road trial.”
I think we need a sheridan, batty, zico flyingpig, and we would be premiership bound, the strikers are good enough for me they just need a supply, chapman would of been useless without that old supply! There must be a playmaker available somewhere any suggestions? Centre half? 3 million should do it oops no chance of that and with bates slagging luciano off,we may be a striker short. Love the posts chaps M.O.T
Pity his name wasn't ROY Andy, now he was a real sharp shooter and quick on the "Trigger" too. Sorry couldn't resist that one. If Robbie Rogers is in the Clint Dempsey mould then that’s exactly what we need.
I have a feeling though that we will sell Ross McCormack in January to Blackburn to enable Simon to get his long term target Andrews in to to bolster our midfield. He is due back to Blackburn after his loan spell at Ipswich. Competition will be fierce however to sign him, Andrews is a goal scoring midfield player and has seven to his credit so far. An ideal replacement for JH.

I read the article earlier today and know nothing about the guy, but am expecting a call from the states which may or may not shed some light on him.
I for one would not mind McCormack being sold at a profit and have thought we needed a regular goal scorer for some time. Becchio will get his form back at some stage, but we need someone else to make sure we can be confident of scoring at least 2 goals a game. That confidence was there last year, but hasn't been so far this year, and it needs to be remedied (easier said than done).
Andrews coming in would also be a very positive sign if it can be achieved.
