If Walton can stay injury free, and out of trouble, Pools have a good midfielder who could also contribute a few goals. The lad was a Prem player at 16 - that doesn't happen without talent!
'Keep us posted, Al.
Walton was the guy who made me realise how small we had become...
He was a real bright prospect for us and left to go to a bigger club, Charlton, and be loaned out..
Looks like he needs some stability, hoping it is with your lat Al!

Hey, Peter, how did you find the board now that Yahoo! has hidden it? It's good to hear from you again - your contriutions have been missed.
Walton, essentially a 'Leeds' player, was a casualty of asset stripping at the club. With the right nurturing, he could have made it here and become a star; it's just that the time (and club management) was wrong. Walton's fortunes, after he was sold, pretty much reflect those of Leeds after it was 'bought' by Bates.
