Result: Leeds 2-1 Wolves
Really good performance from all of the boys, think the only player not to shine too brightly was Aidy White but he can be forgiven.
Thought the young kid Byram showed why Colin has so much faith in him, Rudy was an absolute beast, Pearce was outstanding, and Diouf was a revelation when he came on. As much as i dislike the thought of him in a Leeds shirt, he showed his class when he came on and is going to prove a real handful.
All in all a good start and its only going to get better once the team bed in a little bit more. MOT
'Happy day indeed, Lotto! I didn't wear a shirt (as a protest) and had a French relative, a keen Leeds supporter, with me which made the lads around us think we were Wolves supporters - French and Brum sounds the same to an untrained ear! But when Becchio scored, everyone on our tier was hugging... Bates will never destroy the passion at Leeds.
I watched on the box and was very impressed considering this is a new team.
Austin was MOM for me too and if Colin can get them better we might be in with a shout.
A bigger test on Tuesday methinks but the signs are promising!

Al, 1-1 is what the bookies, and most pundits, reckon too. However, if we can avoid spitting incidents (from Diouf) and red cards (the ref, Tony Bates is defo not a Leeds lover - the clue is in his surname! - and could crock the game), I beleve Leeds will shade it in this game.
Warnock's new Leeds hasn't had time to gel, but Wolves seem to be in disarray - some of its key, want away players will be more concerned about not picking up injuries than giving 100%
Think he will start White in midfield and start Drury at LB. Diouf doesnt look fit enough to do a full 90 minutes at the minute, but it wont be long before hes fully fit.
Looking at out back line with the beast roaming just in front we are going to be very hard to break down, and with the new boys wanting to make an immediate impact i see us taking all 3 points and getting the season off to a flyer.
That line up looks pretty good to me, and actually gives me confidence that we have a half decent team.
Predictions are not my strong point, but as Wolves may be a little unsettled with the bids for 2 of their players we may sneak a win.
