      • 2-3 is a great result for an away game - against a team that has spent more on one player than Leeds has on all its transfer dealings!
With a good balance between experienced and young players, Neil Warnock has put together a side that knows how to play to its strengths, cover its weaknesses, and work as a unit.
We have stand-out players, like Diouf, Austin, Pearce, Kenny, Becchio, that provide a strong spine but they are supported by a team that works for one another. Lads like Lees, Byram, and White (who seems to be improving match by match) are also emerging as stand-out players. In turn, they are supported by the likes of Peltier, Drury, Tonge, and even Brown.
Winning is a good habit to get. Whatever it is that Neil Warnock is doing to instil a winning mentality in a low budget team, it is priceless!
Warnock described Diouf as a “matador”, it is a well deserved compliment, but he has the whole team playing like “musketeers” with an all-for-one-and-one-for-all attitude. Did you see how Tonge and White kept moving from the wings into the centre (which was how Aidy scored against Everton) and when Tonge struck that pearl of a goal at Ashton Gate, White was right behind him as back-up.
It is early days, further investment is needed (if this takeover ever happens), but it is beginning to feel like supporting Leeds United as is used to be.
Leeds salute to Neil Warnock and MOT!

    • Well we are winning 1-3 as I write

    • Hope Warnock steadies the ship and we are "ship shape" for this one Al, and Bristol don't put on the fashion. We have raised our bar over the last two games and might find the next two matches to be a true test of our ability to compete at the top. My thoughts are that we should go with the same eleven that finished off the Toffees. We have the "Indian sign" over City at Ashton Gate long may it continue .MOT and upwards. If Lucky Luca plays 2-0 to the Mighty Whites, at the worst a draw.

    • Bit of a tricky one, Andy. 2 useful teams at the minute both looking to steady down and progress. So the obvious is a 1-1 2-2 or 3-3 draw.
H---or Bristol nowt, Leeds Utd 1
