    Hull v Leeds

    Hull – 4-5-1

    Chester, Rosenior, Hobbs, Al-Muhamadi;
    Koren, Brady, Cairney, Quinn, Aluko;

    Expect Hull to try to control midfield with threats from Koren, Cairney, Simpson, and Rosenior.

    Leeds – 4-4-2

    Byram, Pearce, Tate, Drury;
    Green, Norris, Diouf, Thomas;
    McCormack, Somma.

    Expect Leeds to break the Hull attack with Pearce, Tate, Drury, and Norris; Diouf to direct midfield; Byram, Green, and Thomas (or Hall?) to respond on the counter; McCormack to run the channels, with Somma holding the line… as defenders bounce off him! Additionally, a judicious use of subs will be important.

    The Tigers are another high-flying side that Leeds has to face before the January transfer window opens and the team can be strengthened. But Hull poses no greater threat than the other League leading clubs it has already beaten. Undoubtedly, after the Forest game, Neil Warnock’s focus will be on keeping a clean sheet at the KC Stadium and his tactics will be designed to frustrate Hull. Nevertheless, he will have an eye on getting three important points from this game.

    Hull 1-2 Leeds
