    Haye vs Klitschko

I commend Haye wanting to prove he is the best at heavyweight, but this time I think he has bitten more he can chew. He went for the "wrong" Klitschko brother in my opinion. This guy has a chin of granite where his youngerbrother is more chinny. I think Klitschko "senior" will KO Haye in less than 5 rounds.

Had Haye fought Klitschko "junior" then I would have given him a slight chance because of the reason he is more chinny. It will be a similiar outcome as to when Klitschko "senior" destroyed another cruiserweight in the name of Herbie Hide who was another reknown KO specialist like Haye. I think Haye will suffer the same problem as Hide, when he fights these so-called "super" heavyweights like the Klitschko brothers, Haye will be found wanting.

    • totally agree with you ,haye is not a true heavyweight ,but he is bigger than hide and has more power than Herbie did, i was a big fan of Herbie hide the guy gave it is all standing down to no man .
he did get his #$%$ kicked yes but he kicked a few himself great
fighter , Hayes is on the cusp of doing something great ,i do think he can go all the way to being the undisputed champ the klitschko brothers are slipping ,age and power is on Hayes side
go on my son give them the beating no other has done , then put yourself on the $100 dollar bill after you spank the yanks .
the world belongs to Britain once more.......

    • The outcome of such fight is not certain at this point. The Brothers do not have the best jaws in history of boxing. Both of them have been seriously rocked out in the past. True vitali on both occasions via injury including a fight in which he was dominating Lennox.Vitali is definately the best boxer out of the two brothers. Haye on the other hand has not been tested and was knocked out cold by an old thompson while he was young. the jaw does not get better with age even though it reaches a peak of resistance in the late twenties but declines at the thirties. Wlad will be destroyed by haye if he stands in the way. He cannot sustained that power remember Brewster and sanders let alone journeyman purity. Vitali is a rock and a better boxer than haye. Condionning may be his problem. He has never been knocked out cold and it would take a lot to make him fall. The brothers are two different people and neither are indestructible on the other hand haye is not either.

    • haye will win this convincingly. klitschko is a boring fighter, he cannot be regarded as one of the greatest ever heavyweights and i think when they eventually fight you'll see klitschko on his back.Haye hasnt avoided im, he just didnt wanna be locked into a stupid contract like klitschko wanted

    • Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko are the best!!!!!
      You'll see!

    • got to agree with that ! spot on

Describing Lewis as a master is a bit strong. KO'd by two very average fighters (McCall and Rahman) although he did avenge them.

Look at who Lewis actually beat.

Ruddock - Coming off two very gruelling defeats by Tyson.

Tucker - Already beaten by Tyson.

Bruno - Gave Lewis all manner of trouble and was drawing on two cards and winning on another when the fight ended.

Jackson - Hopelessly mismatched with an inflated recorded.

McCall - Has lost 5 of 29 fights coming in and KO'd Lewis in 2.

        Butler - 22-10-1 - Need I say more.

        Fortune - Total mismatch.

Morrison - Savagely stopped by Mercer and beaten in a round by Michael Bennt,

Mercer - Losses to an ancient Larry Holmes and oft-beaten Jesse Ferguson

McCall II - Beat a man who had a breakdown in the ring during the fight!

Akinwande - Unbeaten, difficult opponent, Lewis did well.

Golota - Coming off the two hard Bowe fights and never achieved anything afterwards.

Briggs - Beaten by Darrol Wilson.

Mavrovic - Unbeaten but unproven at world level.

Holyfield I & II - Holyfield was already SEVEN years past his prime.

Grant - Relatively untested at world level, but good performance from Lewis.

Botha - Already stopped by Moorer and Tyson.

Tua - Arguably Lewis' strongest opponent - Brilliantly outboxed by Lewis.

Rahman I & II - More proof of Lewis' susect chin and concentration.

Tyson - A totally spent force over a decade past his prime.

Klitschko - Lewis was down on all three cards.

To me, Tua and Klitschko were Lewis' best opponents. I know you can only beat what's put in front of you and Lewis did that, but the two losses, despite being avenged. are major blots on his record.

As far as Lewis being the best British Heavyweight ever, yes he was, but who did he have to beat? Bruno, Cooper etc. IMHO Bob Fitzimmons beating Jim Corbett was a much bigger achievement than Lewis beating Ruddock.

    • haye has the speed to beat a 39 yr old vitali and as for his twin chinless sister wlad who was k/o"d by a fighter with 20 loses on his record, ross purity, what do you think !!!

    • Interestingly, although Fitzsimmons won middleweight, light heavy and heavy, he is not considered the first light hw to become hw champ as he won the hw title first.

    • I thought Fitzsimmons fought mainly in US. He beat Gentleman Jim Corbett. I know his family moved to NZ when he was 9 (he was born in Cornwall)

    • I think you've got the wrong Klischko brother there mate. Vladimir is the chinny one, Vitali is the one with the granite chin - ask Lennox Lewis! I actually think Haye has got an outside chance against Vladimir (because he IS a little bit chinny) but it's still a long shot. Vitali is a different ball game, he'd wipe Haye out in three rounds - 100%.
These two are really underated. They are both technically exellent boxers and they can both bang. Vitali is so good i just can't see anyone around who'd even run him close at the moment.

    • Haye is mouthy but his antics are there to sell tickets. As a british fighter you want him to succeed against vladimir. This is because vladimir is so boring to watch. He is a brilliant as crown plus paint!

Let's get behind our fighter so that he can breathe some life back into the heavyweight division which has been lacking since the prime days of holyfield, tyson & lewis. I hate watching these eastern european "Ivan Drago" wannabees....!
