I didn't see it as disrespectful, I took it as a tribute to the fans - a mark of their input to the team if you like, & acknowledgement of it being a shared achievment. I thought it was a very generous action, although his comments afterwards about not being happy kinda put a shadow over it.
fair enough blondie i suppose every man/woman for themselves on what they do with their medals. but he aint got many medals in his cabinet at home cos he's thrown them all away LOL. i guess he'll just have some dvds and a few piccys on the wall to remember his wins or maybe the 8 page pull-out in The Sun. hehe
dont get me wrong but it kinda just looks like he's on his way out of chelsea.

Yeh, apparently he threw it coz he had last seasons medal and didn't need another one..... *rolls eyes*, but hey each to their own, it was a nice gesture i guess, he probably just caught up in the excitement and he knows he loves to be controversial! What cracked me up was when he threw his jacket, it was likes vultures to a carcass!!
