I would still rather have jenas on the right than recall routledge who, let's face it, is rather injury prone and not nearly as good as Lennon. Jenas is an intelligent player who's good with the ball, can drive forward, set up some plays and score a few goals.
Plus, the way we play is like a diamond formation without Lennon - Jenas tucking in and allowing Chimbonda to bomb up the right wing, or Tainio tucking in and Assou-Ekotto bombing up the left.
I'd also prefer to see Huddlestone for Davids, as i think Zokora benefits being allowed that free role in midfield, whereas with Davids in there it's as if the players look to Davids for inspiration, but he clearly can't last 90 mins any more.
Some good points glenn but I still feel Jenas is too sporadic with his form.
He is in and out of games alot.
On the plus side Jenas can weigh in with goals and his set pieces are not too bad either.
But when Lennon is back he is an automatic choice.
Hudd and Zokora would compliment each other better as they play in more disciplined midfield roles.
Jenas is more of an up and down player.
He has bags of energy but is not a player that commands games in the middle of the field.
Davids has great experience and is good to have around, but games pass him by more often than not.

Totaly disagree Davids inspires the rest of the team and drives them on,sure he makes mistakes but no more than anyone else and when he fucks up he really trys to make up for it.For sure he cant play the full 90 mins as well as he did 5 years ago but he still gives it his all for SPURS. He loves the club.He could have gone back to Amsterdam at the end of last season. But stayed with us(and not for the money)
I think when he leaves next year he will be rememberd as one of the Great SPURS players.(At least i hope so)
