i think it's safe to say that the speed in which JR was able to win a trophy was because of the ground work MJ had put in - the team hasn't really changed much, bar a couple of defenders. However would MJ's spurs have beaten chelsea? i don't believe they would have beaten the ar$e. i was a big fan of MJ but can see now that he did take the club as far as he could. the game against birmingham should be a must win if we're to be considered a genuine top side or it will show if we're only up for the big games.
