It's an ethics question. You are out taking photographs of a devastating flood as the Thames has burst it's banks. While you are shooting from a safe place close to the water's edge you see a man struggling in the water as the current sweeps him towards you. As he gets closer, you can see it's Commoli as he cries for help and reaches for you as you can obviously reach out a hand and save him. So here's the question. Do you use colour film to for more of an action photo, or go for the documentary image in black and white?
