    Dawson's problems Continue

Am I the only one who is a bit concerned with the fact that Dawson's play at the back has not improved noteably from last season?
He made several rather serious/costly mistakes against Middlesbrough last weekend, and it sems that without King back there to tell him where he needs to be (at all times) the man consistently misses assignments and is generally confused/tentative when on the pitch.
Ramos knows he is an issues and we really could use another competent defensive player to aid in securing the back.
Goodbye Berbi....To all attending at "White Pain Lane" on Saturday, please let him know how we feel about his transfer antics if he takes the pitch on Sat

    • I'm sure if he doesn't know how we feel already, he will by tomorrow!!

I must confess that I was one of the very few at the Riverside last week who didn't boo him when he came on as sub!!

But seeing the newspaper article of him signing that supposed Manure shirt ( ok it was The Sun that printed it ) really was the straw that broke the camels back!!

Whatever respect I had for him has now well & truly gone!!

      • I only saw the highlights, but it seemeed to me some of Dawson's mistakes were errors by Woody that he managed to pass off as someone elses - too many times Middlesborough were on the counter attack and Woody was nowhere to be seen. There were also times when he was miles off his man, leaving Dawson to cover two, which was enough to confuse Dawson's little head. I don't think either of the goals was as a result of one of these, but it worried me that our 'reliable' defender was making basic cock-ups such as these.

The other thing I noticed was the complete lack of any communication between the defence - what happened to the wonderful back four lines we had last season?? That was the warm up, today's the real match (I'm not feeling confident...)
