Evening all, I trust everyone has been on their best behaviour while I have been at work?
I know that this has not got a whole lot to do with the current topic ( or maybe it has? ) but I have been delighted as anyone that Harry has taken over the reins at WHL - along with our result yesterday!!
Anyway, back to EY's thread.
One of the conditions of HR accepting the managers job was that there would be absolutely no interference from Levy on the footballing side of things. I hope that Levy will be true to his word.
The demise of Comolli/JR & Poyet was so sudden and unexpected. I'm pleased that Comolli has gone, I have mixed feelings about JR's departure & feel that Poyet should have stayed especially since he turned down the opportunity to manage the Geordies to stay at WHL.
We were on a downward spiral into oblivion. So I guess something drastic had to be done before the game against Bolton on Sunday.
