i think you would be mad not to have the guy back......i know its the judas complex,( one we suffer heavily from at west ham) but to have keane up front with defoe and cudicini in goal.....its got to be better spurs........surely
Although we do suffer the afflictions of the judas complex at the Lane I dont think it would be 'too' difficult for most Spurs fans to welcome Keane back (its not like Campbell or Berbs is it)
Now I know its been mentioned elsewhere but arent we all forgetting that Harry prefers the little and large combo. Even BMJ rarely played Keane and Defoe at the same time and they never really complimented eachother so.......he'd be on the bench mostly wouldnt he? Cant see him being happy with that. Defoe is Harrys boy..........first choice in other words.
Im a little uneasy with all these ex Spurs lining up to sign for us too......I know we are getting desperate but what the fcuk does Levi think this is doing for our credibility? Does credibility count right now?
So as much as I rate him.. for me.. Keane at the Lane is a no no
i understand where essex is coming from but lets be honest about this season.....its consolidation time....i got a soft spot for spurs, must be the jewish roots.....i dont want to see em go down.....keano may not be an ideal situation but if the guy comes back he would play his bloody heart out given the chance....as for height.......what do you want ......crouch.....in all fairness there aint much time left to make a difference.....
Keane back at The Lane? It won't work? While Keane can bring something to the team, he clearly thrives, goalscoring wise, when he plays off a big man...Pavly is not that big man! Someone said Defoe and Keane can't play together...they didn't really play together that much to begin with...it was first one or the other with Mido; then one or the other with Berbatov (mainly Keane). I think they both thrive playing off of a big target (which was why I hoped that the non-goalscoring Heskey came our way; but that didn't happen. I haven't seen a lot of K. Jones, but he's the right size; just don't know much about his hold up play (doesn't look like we'll be getting him either).
So all that to say, no, I wouldn't want Keane back (unless he was coming with Torres...(Laughs))!
