Have to agree Essex. Shilton was good but not that good - I think he only remained England goalie for so long because there wasn't anyone else good enough to oust him from between the sticks.
Dino Zoff was a great goalie for Italy and their captain too. Glad to see Schmeichel up there in the top 3 - despite the fact that he played for Manure he was a top-class stopper and very personable too.
However, I reckon they've got it right with Gordon Banks at No 1. Even Pele acknowledged him as the best in the world. Apparently he had a brilliant memory and would be able to recall how a certain player would take their penalty - it helped him save more than most goalies. I have this picture in my mind of him mentally flipping through a book until he got to the right page so he was fully prepared :-)
