1990 world cup was when i realised football was gonna b a big part of my life. i was only 8 and couldnt believe just how wonderfull the game really was as i watched england and bobby make it to the semis.
so i thank you mr robson for showing me how good th egame of football really is and for changing my life.
may you rest in peace and join all the other footballing greats in gods house.
If we could go back in time and turn that loss on penalties to Germany in Italia '90 into a win, what might have been?
Gazza carrying the team to victory against the "rascal" Maradona and his men. Sir Robson getting the ultimate prize. And England establishing themselves as two-time winners!

Gazza never was the brightest spark and never could handle his high public profile.
One thing the guy was and still is---is heart on his sleeve, and irrespective of the 90 world cup he and Sir Bobby had a very special relationship.
Still sad but smiling---H
Brilliant quote from Peter Reid in the morning papers. He said, " Bobby gave me my chance in the 96 world cup. He told me, when you get the ball give it to Glen Hoddle---and drink plenty of water."
