Scotland's transfer window was allowed to be extended to 12 midnight, yet the transfer window in England was closed at 5:00pm.
We did a bit of transfer dealings yesterday with three players leaving but none coming in - disappointing to say the least!
With Corluka as our only recognised RB, the defence will have a lop-sided look to it should he get injured or suspended ( he is only a couple of yellows away from a one match suspension ) though I may be wrong on this one.
Oh well... maybe HR has an ulterior motive and he has a masterplan that will keep us in the top four - just wish he would let us into his plans ( as I am finding it difficult to understand it all ).
No its not fair Mike but there should be no real surprise there.
I agree, and have said somewhere on here, that we seem to have gone from having more than enough cover at RB to being very short in cover and I don't understand that either.
Obviously everybody will have slightly different opinions as to where Arry should be looking to strengthen the squad. Getting Kaboul back to cover for all of the other CB's we have at the club is "ok" but I think probably that most supporters would have preferred more options in centre midfield or left wing to be more of a priority given that Jenas is useless and Hudd is not performing (again) to the standard needed.
It will also of course be some peoples opinion that replacing Keane with Gudjohnnson is another "so what" deal and I could not argue with that too much.
Not sure what is going on at the mo.

I share your worries there Sfer. I know we have slightly differing views on Hudd - but I think regardless he should do better because he is capable. So it is an issue, and an obvious frustration. I would have loved to see a strong CM brought in. And whilst I'll withold judgement on Kaboul, I wasn't bowled over by the news, and am not certain he is the cover we need. But we'll see on that one.
But I think it was a strange transfer window as a whole this year.
