thought we played well today would have liked to have seen giovani start was really impressed with ekotto today man of the match performance.
I think the main concern for me is we seem to be lacking some bite upfront
Best Moment of the game it made me laugh so much couldnt belive my eyes watching crouchy try an overhead kick brilliant
i also thought crouch was his reliable usual self.
nothing spectacular. just works hard, wins some headers & flick ons, holds it up & lays it off well.
pav is very weak to me also. very inconsistant. & its not like good game, bad game. its more like good for 2 or 3 & then average/bad for 5 or 6.
keane i think has gone stale at spurs.
we definitly need a new striker but we need to keep 1 of pav & keane as we need 4 strikers.
just posted this in another thread berkshire.
oh well 2pts dropped but a good performance none the less.
we might have to get use to dominating games but not scoring as we are very short of firepower.
defoe is are only regular goalscorer. pavs inconsistant, crouch is an all round player & keane isnt quite as sharp as he use to be.
hopefully this will show harry that we are strong in most areas but we desperatley need a new striker who can score 20+ with defoe.
cant fault any of the players. very impressed with ekotto.
he frustrates me so much. he can be great like today or he can be shocking like the WC.
at least we got our 1st pt & kept a clean sheet.
im sure we were play a lot worse & win very soon.
so harry, keep playing the way we did. BUT get a new striker & another LB to keep ekotto on his toes.
also off load some jenas type deadwood.
so berkshire i totally agree that we need a new striker.
i think keane has gone stale at spurs & needs a new club & challenge. i dont think pav will ever be consistant enough.
i like defoe has he works a lot harder now & will always get us 20+ goals a season. crouch is worth having around because of his good all round game, assists & chips in with a few goals too.

Agree largely SB and BY. Take nothing away from Citeh's back four and Joe Hart though, they were superb! If we play like this all season we are definetely going to kick ass! I think our MF is probably one of the Prem's best, and I thought Bale was scaring them to bits, and Thomas's distribution to the front and wide men was Hoddle-like! (Couldn't really give higher praise!). Good start from our "left-overs"....get hold of a world class striker and who knows...? Dawson and King were solid too.
