yes i agree about ashley young. he is a good player but we have enough attacking midfielders.
i think we are going for the wrong villa player. agbonholar i rate much higher. hes strong, fast, good at heading & is still developing.
yes I do get touchy sometimes...actually I try to stay away from predictions, mainly because I have a lousy bettling record, tinged with the stereotypical Tottenham fan's negativity, which we all seem to share - you just know we're going to blow it. After last season, when we didn't, maybe we should all feel a little more positive...I swing between blind optimism and and a sense of terrible foreboding! LOL
I agree we could do with one or two new players, dont see the point of Ashley Young - guess we can always get better, just got to be careful re team spirit & balance, which we had in abundance last year. Dont get why we havent got shot of Jenas & Bentley for a start and use the money for a striker - BAE is either wonderful or shite, dont know about him - but you know I'm never going to agree with you on Corluka! No matter, keeps us both entertained. Have a great day COYS!!!!!!!!
well i wasnt prepared for liverpool to be so bad & for city to draw so many games.
thats not going to happen again this season. i feel it will be tougher to get 4th this yr as city & pool can only get better.
im not sayin this team isnt good enough for 4th, its just i think we can improve in those 3 areas & be even better.
we have a good manager & good team. best team & manager we have had since iv started supporting us.
but i always strive to improve.
if we finish 2nd, i want us to go on & finish 1st.
as far your comment of wasn't that what u said most of last season too.
well i could bring up the predictions of the wigan game & there will be lots of spurs saying how many we will win by.
but i dont because we all get things wrong.
this is a thread with opinions, not lets just talk about facts.
its ok to be wrong if u predict spurs win & we lose. but if its the other way round u seem to get very touchy.

Bloody hell Devilfish, if you think we're whining so much why are you still reading the board??? We get it, the gooners have been in CL for years, have a medal... oh wait, you've not won them yet have you...
And to all the 'home' fans here, lighten up! Yes, it's a lot of games; that's why we're in it - has one year out of Europe mean you've forgotten about fixture congestion? Like having Hull in the PL Mon, UEFA game Thurs and CC final Sun? It's difficult, but if you've got the balls and the squad depth you suck it up and deal with it. We need to prove we're up to that, and THAT'S the challenge we've got to pass. And if the players can't do it, and won't man up and put 100% in every game, be it Inter away or Wigan at home, then we don't deserve it.
I have spoken, that is all ;)
Cope by having less training sessions, and maybe giving some of the bench warmers a run around for games against teams in the second half of the table maybe?
I can think of Jenas, Bentley, Rose, Keane, Bassong, Kaboul, Sandro list will go on but I'm just saying we have room to rest players for europe if needed. :)
That way everyones happy to be playing I hope...
