If a player is intent on leaving there is absolutely nothing to be done but let him go.
I thought Levy made his position clear, "nobody leaves", so it's down to him and 'arry to convince Modric to stay, but if he won't listen and insists then - goodbye Luka, hello luka "loadsamoney", with which to enhance the forward line.
Again, Luka has never said he wants to leave.
He answered an unknown question with "If the club sells me to Chelsea I would leave Spurs as a friend."
Until he is on an unedited video press conference saying the words "I want to leave Spurs" its all fabricated BS paper talk.

your in denial nick!
he could have easily said im staying at spurs unless spurs want to sell me but instead he went on about what a great club chelsea are etc.
modric is too nice to have a tantrum & demand a transfer.
but he has clearly hinted that he wouldnt say no to going to chelsea.
