I absolutely think he'll be out to prove something; he always wanted to be a Spurs great and I think his performance and attitude were fantastic. My ideal result would be for him to score and us to win 3-1 (with the scoreline at 1-1 when he's taken off, is that too much detail for an ideal scenario?).

As for comparing him to Jenas and Hudd, perhaps it's only me but I think that's as much use as comparing him to Robbo or Keane, they have completely different games. That said, I really believe he had the right Spurs mindframe and I really hope he has a fantastic career ahead of him... just not against us ;)

    • i disagree. i think comparing a CM to another CM is more use than comparing a CM to a striker.

my point is, whatever hudd, jenas or o haras game is- i think o hara is much better than the other 2.

what next, i can't say messi is better than kaboul because they are in diff positions?!

even thou there games are compeltley diff, messi is still a million times better than kaboul.

      • I always liked O'hara,

Even when he made those stupid comments when he was on loan to Pompey. I admire that he would rather move to a smaller club in order to play football, but I think those comments were pretty ill informed.

As much as I admire O'hara's work ethic, I think thats probably his best attribute, he works hard, runs his arse off and puts in alot of effort. I think Hudds is a much better player than O'Hara, just less mobile. I think Jenas and O''Hara is a pretty good comparison, with O'Hara taking it on the effort points. We have better players now and neither O'Hara or Jenas would see much action.

I'm happy for O'Hara he will be one of the best players at Wolves, they will all love his energy, but I truely hope he has a howler this weekend!

      • O'Hara is a left winger so if you're going to compare him it has to be with our other left wingers.

O'Hara v Bale - Bale all the way
O'Hara v Kranjcar - pretty much even but IMO Kranjcar offers more
O'Hara v Rose - O'Hara because he's more experienced, though that will likely change

O'Hara was one of my favourite players from the time I saw him come on as a sub v Pompey a few years ago and promptly score a goal. I've always said he was a good player in a mediocre team, but as we moved forward and brought in more skilful players he seemed to stand still then was frozen out, loaned then finally sold.

He was a good servant to Spurs, did well for Pompey on loan (those comments aside) and is going great guns for Wolves so I think he's in the right place at Molineux.

Like some have said, I wish him well - just not against us tomorrow!
