Redknapp still confident of third-place finish

'Arsenal taking it' I hope you are right but it's going to be a hard fight for both teams and of course Spurs have the edge - If Arsenal take 3rd place I hope it is not cos your best players got injured as your fellow Spursbabe fan wished on ours. Let the best team win fair and square....

    • Although injuries and player trading are a part of the game, I'd rather get third (or whatever position) knowing that we competed against the strongest opposition that the club could field. No excuses, no '...it was a second string team...' from either side.

      • i see u all have ignored my actual point.

of course id rather get 3rd against the strongest opposition, that is a given.

but for example, if given the choice between 5th & RVP stays fit OR
        4th & RVP gets a 8wk injury.

then id have to choose the latter.

i understand john if most of u would rather the 1st option, but im still sticking with my answer!

so anne, would u rather arsenal finish 5th & a key spurs player stay fit OR
arsenal finish 4th & all of spurs key players stay fit?

i think a lot of people are saying the correct moral thing to say, rather than what they actually think.

next u are all going to tell me u have never been 2 faced or lied to anyone.
