So he's a second to none player, and a very very nice man (like the AA man)...but I still don't want him - Is that a fair enough 'paraphrase'? Maybe Daws personally (or got his agent - Mr Bean) phoned up QPR and said: Daws: '...hey look Mark, AVB thinks I'm great and really nice.....' Hughes: 'Well what a strange co-inky dinky, we just happen to be looking for a nice bloke, who also happens to be second to none as a footballer....'
This is the most entertaining pre-season for ages. I just hope that now they (the ubiquitous they - who in my mind is Levy et al) appear to have let the 'portuguese man of war' off of his leash, that they see his plans through. Or else we could be left with a dismantled squad and no direction.
