Fair enough, I don't blame you. I would not like to bet on where Spurs will finish either.
Luck, injuries and confidence will determine where all teams finish the same as it does every season. Personally I think you are trying very hard to gloss over the deep sense of hurt that the loss of Fab, RVP, Nasri and Song have had. Some Spurs fans are doing the same about Modric. No team can lose players like that and be the same as they were before.
If we are lucky some of those that have come in will eventually be as good but that takes time. The ones we have brought in are known to us and we know what to expect. I like Dembele and he should do well but the others are average IMO .Its when you sign someone no one knows much about from some average foreign league or team and they turn out to be a genius - thats when you get excited.
I still think you are weaker at CB than you need to be to be top 4 and you still have not sorted the goalkeeper position out. Without RVP you are definitely weaker up front. MF is debateable but I will give you the benefit of the doubt on that. Only time will tell of course and if I am wrong I will gladly hold my hands up.
