    • Can't wait to see what happens when Midtheyid and Ghaly are on the pitch together. They'll probably beat the crap out of each other :D

    • no he is a spurs man

    • Hossam never said he wanted to sign for Arsenal, he said he wanted to join N London's Premier team, so he signed for the Spurs. LOL.
Mr Ghaly has clearly understood that the Arse are yesterdays men.

    • Apparently Wenger went to watch Feyenoord today, and the Dutch press have taken that as we are stepping up the chase for him.

Should be a good move, even if just for squad depth. And if he's anything like the last player to come from to us from Feyenoord, I can't wait! :)

    • yer he is wank, he should fit in nicely

Arsenal are being linked with a January move for Feyenoord's Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly.

Ghaly has a reputation as something of a firebrand and has fallen out with boss Erwin Koeman, who has warned Ghaly that he has one more chance to mend his ways or face being moved on when the transfer window reopens.

The Gunners have been watching the progress of Ghaly for over a year and could secure a bargain if Arsene Wenger feels he can succeed where the coaches in Holland have failed in harnessing the player’s undoubted talent.

Ghaly, who is under contract until 2007 has already expressed his interest in a move to the Gunners:

" I know that I can make it in Europe, that is a dream which I want to live. I have one big wish and that is to play for my dream team Arsenal some day. That club shows the most beautiful football in the world; technical, fast, one touch. I find it magnificent watching them play. Robin van Persie is lucky playing for such a huge team. That isn’t jealousy, Robin deserves the best. We get along together well, and above all he is one of the best players I have ever played with.’

    • I'd never heard of him, but from what i've found on google, he's a promising Egyptian midfielder with a discipline problem. And he's mates with Robin VP.
I must admit, I'd rather we bought someone like him rather than Diop et al. The players with discipline problems we've bought from the Netherlands before appear to have really come good at Arsenal, and have been very little trouble at all. Could be a good signing. Oh, and he actually wants to sign for us which can't be a bad thing :)
