Arsenal Message Board
Not a bad result, and one in the eye for the "pundits" who thought we were going to get spanked. At least our second half performance shows we are still the footballing power in North London.
And, perhaps most importantly, it's an away game, and we haven't lost. And that without Theirry. Pires looked much more up for it after he came on than he has in recent games; maybe the stick he got after the penalty was a good thing.
Ahh, I can walk in to work on monday with my head held high, and distribute those pork pies sitting in my fridge :D
My fellow gunners, we jsut have to be happy for the result as it showed we are still a force to be reckoned with. But somebody help me tell mourinho to stop making so much noise. They are clear at the top yes but this still early days.
Not a bad result hahahahahaha....with all the talk of how great Aresnal are supposed to be and how they're not a one Frenchman team is that the best you have to offer? Remove Henry and you're shocking. F.Fwd to the end of the season and he'll be in a different shade of claret with some blue stripes on, then we'll see. In the mean time time best look at replacing 50% of your squad as they are of pensionable age at this point in time hahahaha. Same old Aresnal always moaning. Looking forward to your impending financial nightmare/exit from Europe/losing your only striker. Tossers.

Well everyone thought spurs would beat us. Henry, Cole and Hleb out, and we're hardly anywhere near our good form. THEY STILL COULDN'T BEAT US.
Its laughable that Spurs, playing better than they have in a long, long, long time, couldn't beat us when we were the most vulnerable. The thing is we can only improve, while i'm sure spurs will hit a bad spell. What'll happen then?
Talk about doing well in the second half and still being the football power in N/London! What game were you watching poofter? You have more ARSE(NAL) than CLASS, stick to playing with your boyfriend's balls! Everything about the team you support is crp!
Your manager: ARSE(ne)
Your team: ARSE(A)NAL!!!!
Bet those pies have been there for the last 10 games!

Ouch, some cutting remarks there. With wit like that, it's plain to see why the Haringey education system is totally fucked.
Your manager: DICK Jol
Your Team: CUNTS
Your Fans: Ditto
I bought the pies on Saturday morning. They taste sooo much better when people like you get upset by them
I had a bacon roll too.
How is everything about our team crap anyway? We have the greatest striker in the world, we're the most entertaining team in the league, we don't suffer from immense fatigue after just 45 minutes of a relatively mundane game and give up for the second half. Oh, we also don't issue skin tight replica shirts; they look ridiculous on the average Yiddo fan (you know, fat beer belly, knuckles scraping along the floor, depressed look on their face - you seem them queuing outside to JobCentre every Thursday).
Are you happy 1-1 draw with Tottenham , this call
the attacking football.
Arsene Wenger please quiet! don't always critical
other team tactic and please concentrate on your team
and no more excuse!!!!!!!!!
arsene wenger please to resign yuor job!!!!!!!!!

No, ordinarily I wouldn't be happy with a draw at Tottenham. But that's because Arsene has built such a strong team over the last ten years that we piss over Tottenham in every single department.
However, when we are on a (by Arsene's standards) poor run of form, the critics are slating us, and for the first time this Millennium, Spurs are favourites, yes, I am happy with a 1 - 1 draw.
Arsene did not make any excuses after this game. Why should he resign from his job? Who could/would take over?
I don't like to say bad stuff about my fellow gooners, but you are clearly a fool mate. You haven't got a valid point, you're being totally reactionary, and you're barely coherant.
We all agree that Arsenal could do with three or four top class players. Hell, I'd take 11. Unfortunately, this is real life. Players cost money. It's not like Championship Manager where you can get anyone for free. It's also not like Chelsea where you get bucketloads of "dirty money".
Tell you what though Damian, luck was on our side here. Hopefully the Professor will now be convinced that Torres is most definitley needed. Other than that I'll be with you in spirit on Monday morning at work. It's going to sweet. There's something especially nice about getting a result against them when we haven't deserved it.

I dunno about luck really. We were crap admittedly in the first half, and could have gone in 3 - 0 down. But in the second half, it was almost like watching "normal" Arsenal. We created chances, and but for a couple of decent saves by Robinson against Bobby VP, we could have nicked it.
