    todays game

why is RVP on the bench is he hurt or something?, cos Bendtner is playing pretty badly. Shame for eboue that he is injured but he was as bad as usual, why does he start though he has been rotten for ages!
Have bendter and Eboue got something on Arsene Wenger?
Christ I thought West ham were going to score at the end of half! looks like a late winner again!

    • Diaby is frustrating to watch. He is inconsistent. Often does really good things but sprinkled with too many mistakes.

We are missing Theo - at least he is prepared to run at defenders. There still remains a problem position at LM.

I cannot understand why he plays Nasri LM and Eboue RM.

AW loves Eboue because the stats show he can run up and down all day. Unfortunately the boy can't get past defenders, can't shoot and often fails to find a red shirt to pass to. Also he is a drama queen and for a big fit boy the slightest knock is reacted to like a GSW.

Vela should be given the chance to start LM. Not quite sure about him yet but he deserves a run in the side.

    • plus wenger probably wants RVP ready for cardiff on tuesday

    • Well regarding the inclusion of Diaby in the team yesterday you had to have someone who could mix it a bit with the very good Scott Parker, Ramsey just wouldn't have been the player to do that.

And Eboue starting....the team is still very much missing Walcott on the right, the options in the squad to play someone else instead of Eboue on the right are limited. Vela looked quite good when he came on but also at times looked short on ideas when given the ball.

    • I agree some of his selections seem crazy as if he has a fixation on certain players! why not give Vela, Ramsey and Wilshire some game time, they cant be worse than eboue, diaby song and Bendtner.

    • Sorry Rob but Wenger stated that RVP was left on the bench because he had played three games in six days, I think that the manager and fitness coaches at the club probably know the situation better than the rest of us regarding player condition and fitness.

If you think that Wenger left RVP out of the starting line up for any other reason then you could be mistaken, given his great performances in recent matches.

    • AW says :-

“We gave everything for 90 minutes and I believe we restricted them to nothing. We had 70 per cent of the possession but we have produced a great defensive team display, showed great desire until the last minute but they defended very well.

“We lacked some creativity in the final third, the final pass and from some set pieces. They were very strong in defence I must say with James Collins and Matthew Upson and that’s why we couldn’t score.

“I can’t fault the spirit but I believe as well that we lost a bit of sharpness from playing on Sunday at Cardiff, on Wednesday a very physical game at Everton and maybe that was why we lacked a bit of sharpness to score."

F'ing spirit, he needs to find some new words.

70% possession and hardly anything on target - that is shameful. Same old sh1t - does he not realise that HE has to find the solution to breaking teams down.

Fact is the quality just isn't there. Never mind F'ing spirit, half of them should be sacked or have their pay halved.

    • I agree with Irons....West Ham went for a clean sheet, a point and a good defensive display and they got all 3.

    • What about Ade..totally useless....just wondering around....no passion...no real desire...probably wishing he was somewhere else....its shocking that I am now one of his worst critics,,,but I'd rather see the back of him...
