Some people are on the pitch . . Bendtner

They think it's all over, well it should be for Bendtner because his first touch is terrible, he couldn't trap a bag of cement, he's arrogant and should have put the tie beyond Roma by now. He's paid to score goals but does not have enough quality, same against cardiff, too many easy chances missed. It's time for him to go and hopefully with a fit Eduardo and Ade back in the frame we won't see him too often again this season. I know he's been knocked before on this board but the time has come AW please let Niklaus enjoy some time at Portsmouth, Middlesborough or wherever, he's had his chance.

    • 1. Nasri's cutback was hit behind Bendtner and far too hard, any striker would have struggled to control it.

      2. Bendtner was played out of position, and he made a great contribution to the team - tracking back, making tackles, mopping up loose balls, even covering for Clichy at left back twice.

      3. He played in RVP with a great pass for the penalty that won us the game.

      4. He's still only 20.

      • I agree he has ability and has scored important goals, its just that he misses too many and doesnt hit the target from easy positions game after game. A 20 year old happy to take his place behind RVP, Ade, Edu, and maybe Vela if he steps up a gear, fair enough, but is the statement that he feels he deserves to play every minute arrogance or youthful enthusiasm?

      • Thoese things are all true but...

I have to say I am not thrilled when I know Bendter is playing. 20 or not he should go prove himself somewhere else.

With Ade, who's not much better, out, Wenger probably felt he had no other options but for next year I hope we will have better options when Ade (if still around) and Eduardo are out. I would alsmost prefer Simpson next year.
