    Sagna expects further arrivals

"We had a torrid time on Sunday at Old Trafford, but it can happen when you are missing a lot of players through injury and suspension.

"We came up against a team that is in good form, that is playing with confidence and they punished us."

Sagna missed the weekend's encounter with flu, but after shaking that off, and with a clear head, he will be keeping a close eye on goings-on at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners expected to be busy on deadline day looking to bring in new recruits.

"The break has come at a good time for us and we have to regroup and show our talent in the future," he continued. "I believe in our manager and the players and new signings will do us good."

Arsenal confirmed the signing of Chu Young Park in a £3million deal from Monaco, and it is widely expected that Per Mertesacker will sign from Werder Bremen later today after successfully completing his medical last night.

But the business is unlikely to stop there with bids going in for a number of midfielder targets, as Wenger and Co. look to further strengthen the squad in order to get their title challenge back on track.
