Am I mistaken in understanding that no one other then Evra heard these comments?

If this is the case I want all the PL white players to claim that all the black players of Utd, City, Chelsea, Spuds and Liverpool called them white Bastards and all the Black players to say the same about the white players of those teams too!

If this is the case then brilliant, Arsenal can win the league.

If he (Suarez) is really guilty then the time fits the crime but without a third person hearing the comments or Suarez owning up to it then how do we really know if Evra is telling the truth?

I haven't heard the full facts but this could open up a hole can of worms.

There is no place for racism in society nor sport but I wouldn't want to see the race card being played by people to gain an advantage.

P.S How long should Terry be banned for (8 weeks for racial abuse and 8 weeks for shagging his best mates bird)

    • Raider,

Apparently Suarez prepared a statement, which when reviewed contained enough information to charge him, effectively he confessed to using racially insulting language. He's blaming cultural differences and a lack of understanding/education.

I think your little scenario is the only way your goons could win the league this season, mind you, you're still in the CL.......good luck with that, reckon you'll beat AC Milan and get torn a new one when you meet Real or Barca, here hoping!! ha ha

If this sets the precedent then Terry is in trouble! as you point out, with Suarez V Evra nobody heard or saw and signs of racially abusive language on the day. With JT, well have you seen the footage?

Damning! I can't see how he's going to argue against this?

I'm surprised at how quick KK and AVB have spoken out in support, surely they are putting themselves in the firing line with such hasty behaviour, which seems to condone the actions of their players?

      as ever......................

    • I think the Terry case is a matter for the CPS first. I doubt they will seek any type of custodial sanction but it wouldn't surprise me if he was told to do community service and attend some kind of counselling course.

The FA may then follow this up with further sanctions to include a ban and fine.

Of course, it might all go away.......suspiciously, with many people suddenly buying new cars and having exotic holidays next year..:-)
