I saw a clip today (I am going to try and re-find it now) that said that Wenger has increased the offer for Corzola because he will not meet Walcott's wage demand and that he still wants to sign M'Vila on the basis that Diaby may not be a viable long term premiership player due to the level of games they play and his propensity to suffer stress injuries.
We will have to wait and see I guess.
I just hope John that Wenger brings in some quality because if Chelsea, City and Urt get any further away from us in terms of strength in squad we may never get back in the race.
We have been a squad of good players and average players and the odd 1 or 2 great players but it's always the good players that get injured.
Its proved over the last few seasons that its the strongest squads that win things and not always the first 11.

I think Wenger is waiting to hear news from the medical team before he makes a final decision, but it has been suggested any negative news may spur him onto making a move for M'Vila. It would make sense as Song cannot be the only player to be relied upon to play every game as an enforcer.
