Gave a good account of themselves against the two Manchester clubs, but that could have been down to defensive frailties because they failed to score against Wigan at home and lost 2-0.

So will this be our first win with a 'cricket score', or will we see the return of the banana skin?

    I'm going to go for a 4 - 0 win for us.

    Any other offers?

    • a modest 1-0 victory will do fine. After an international break you always fear a lifeless draw.

      • Well it was the former. 6 - 1 Nice result and a good game.

Lambert turned out to be a bit limp wristed, while Gervinho playing down the centre, turned in a man-of-the-match performance. Good for him.

I did enjoy Podolski going down under the challenges of two Southampton players, only to emerge seconds later, on his feet and with the ball, to set up the first goal.

Szczesny let a great defensive display down as his spilled to allow the Saints what turned out to be a consolation goal.

        Onwards and upwards anyway.

Citeh slipped on one of our old Bananas today, while the Chav's and Pool limped over the line with draws too. Only an RVP'less Utd managed the other decent scoreline out of the big four.

    • 2-1 to your lot,

Lambert is the sort of player that your CB's have nightmares about, at least they did last season, Mr Bould has managed to organise them well, I just hope the old frailties are exposed this weekend, sadly I think you'll have too much and will knick a win.

I think we (Spurs) will get the same result at Reading- fingers crossed.
