    Wenger out - Moureen in?

I would go for this in an instant. Sure he would not stay for 20 years despite being paid maore than most his peers like Wenger, but he would not dream of settling for 4th and he understands the modern game.

If Pep is not available I would love the thought of Moureen at AFC. We need a winner for a manager not a winer!!!

    • This appointment would never happen because the board would have a confrontation on their hands every five minutes.

Yes he is a winner but at what expense, he certainly divides opinion and often the clubs he works at too!

Could he do better on the money Arsen has had to spend and would he work within a regime that wont hand over the coffers lightly, too many restraints for someone like the special one to work in.

Now Guardiola is a different kettle of fish and would love the stability of a club like Arsenal and the freedom given to their managers regarding football matters.
Guardiola would experience a freedom unheard of at top flight football and he would relish in it, I certainly would like to see him at the Emirates one day, if only to pisss off the Chelski owner!

    • I agree that Mourinho is a winner. Having said this he has covered himself in glory with the squad he has at Real. He would demand at least 100M as transfer kitty, which we do not have. I would prefer someone like Klopp, or even Laudrup. Among those from UK, Moyes is my choice. He has done well with little or no transfer funds.

      • I would ave thought any of the names mentioned would be better than arsene.
You've had the money and wenger has refused to spend it properly. Now hes saying he will, heard it all before.
He proved last season with his panic buying hes out of touch in the transfer market, he only knows france and theres nothing there really.
The real question is who would come, given you probably wont even be in the CL?
Klopp is non-starter, but I wouldnt rule out either jose or pep just yet as they dont have many options themselves.
Then again, i doubt wenger is going anywhere, so you may be stuck with him a while longer. Happy days as you say down south.
