Wigan may have left themselves too much to do as I can't them performing another Houdini act. this season.
Sadly for Wigan, they have two very important games against 2 of the top 3 sides in quick succession which isn't easy even at the best of times for any side, factor in Wigan's relegation battle and their problem is compounded.
I'm expecting Wigan to be knackered by the time they arrive at our place after giving their all against Man City, surely the big pitch at Wembley will take its toll on a very small squad currently ravaged with injuries to key players. Even a performance drop of just 1% could make all the difference on the day in the rough and tumble of this league. Without a doubt, the away game at Arsenal couldn't have come at a worse time for the Latics - 3 or so days after playing City in an historic match for the club. Not an ideal preparation for a team with relegation worries.
