    England Manager

Stuart Pearce has thrown his hat in the ring as a possible candidate. What about Jack Charlton as a mentor, he is younger that Sir Bobby I think and I’m told he is still as fit as a butcher’s dog. He had Great success as a player and a good management record with Middlesbrough and Wednesday before he took the Southern Irish job. His success there was outstanding; when he went there football was way down the list of popular sports being behind Rugby and most Gaelic sports. In Italy 1990 they excelled and it was only the heat in Florida that caused their downfall in the USA 1994 competition, remember they had beaten Italy in New York and Italy made it to the final.
