Part of being a modern F1 driver is that you are greatly responsible for the performance of the car. This is something that Nigel Mansell was great at. If the car isn't fast enough, you don't bitch, moan and complain (see Villeneuve, J.), you test, you develop, you get in the faces of your tyre/engine/fuel/whatever supplier and demand/manage them to improvements. JV just seems to want to sit his fanny in a race car and not work. BAR was an exceptional opportunity. Big budget, team built around #1 driver (sound like Ferrari?). Difference is, Schumacher WORKS. JV, no.
Jacques should be happy in NASTYCAR, if that's where he ends up. Everyone has the same low tech boring equipment, the "racing" is pretty choreographed, and anytime anybody works for an advantage, it gets taken away. It's a show, much like professional wrestling. Montoya should do well too...he can crash a bunch of cars - none of the incidents will be his fault.

Obviously you have never see a NASCAR race. NASCAR is not a low tech form of motorsport nor is it choreograhed in any way. If you get the DVD of NASCAR 3D: The Imax experiance you will see that NASCAR team uses the same technolgy in building the cars as F1 teams. Whilst there might not be the pit to car and car pit telemetery in the race cars in NASCAR it is used on the test cars.
If the races are choreographed as you say then why are there major accidents, injuries and deaths just like any other form of motorsport.
If a caution comes out of a yellow it is for safety reasons as even the smallest screw or washer on the circuit can cut a tyre and send a car into the wall. You can not fix the outcome of a race. One thing the vast majority of fans have radio scanners and listen in to race control and the teams plus there are the usual variables of motorsport The wreck that put Montoya out of the Ford 400 on Sunday was not his fault it was the fault of Ryan Newman.
I suggest you find out a bit about NASCAR before you critise it and tell lies about it. I have worked NASCAR races and NASCAR style races both in the US and here in the UK as an official so I know what goes on.

And at least two thirds of the races each year have a caution in the last twenty laps - seems choreographed...all about the show.
If they were serious about it being "for safety reasons", why have races go into extra laps? Why not have pace lights where you would be required to maintain your distance from the lead instead of allowing the field to bunch up?
You cannot fix the outcome of a race? I don't suppose it would be too hard, especially in the restrictor plate (NOW THAT'S HIGH TECH!!!!!) to give someone a plate with a tiny bigger opening. Or look at Earnhardt Junior at Daytona 2001. Dad killed on the previous race at the track, restrictor plate race, Junior somehow manages to pass a bunch of guys, normally aggressive drivers acquiesced.
There are major accidents because that's entertaining...
NASTYCAR may have more attendance, but the television viewership is dwarfed by that of F1.
And no wreck has ever been Montoya's fault...
