I have to agree with art1. Seems silly to have the top racing series in the world rely on such an outdated mode of communication. Be kind of like us communicating by morse code. Flags have been missed throughout history by top echelon drivers such as Mansell. With all of the electronics in a modern race car, it ought to be easy to come up with a system that would allow the driver to concentrate solely on the matter at hand and not worry about whether some silly bugger is waving a blue flag or not. And don't get me started on that. The inconsistancies of blue flags are huge.
