I'll tell u what, if ,and only if, Laren is found to be truly guilty, make this season Null and VOID....They can take Laren out next year or let them start with a sort of penalty (like in italian football) ...But no matter how much i would have liked Ferrari to win this season it would be unfair to give them the title...unfair to Alonso and Hamilton...dont make anyone the champ this year.... do it next year, fair and square.
It should be done on the tracks, not at some hearing....i would be very unpleased with Ferrari winning the season in such an ugly way. No matter how much i like them.

Some people suggest that drivers should keep their points and i dont really know if that would be fair, if McLaren is to be punished this week. I still think this season shuold be void. But then that would mean that the season ends now...which isnt going to happen... thats too much money lost like this, and the FIA will never do that.
Here's another suggestion: put Laren back at equal points with Ferrari then...and let the final races decide?
All we can do is wait for thursday, really.
Let's hope some truth comes out and that the FIA is fair to everyone.
Very well put.................plus as I have said else where - if the FIA ban McLaren for 2008, it COULD have repercussions for the factory workers too. And why should they be punished for what the 'suits' have done?
Scrap this year and set McLaren a points defisit of mayeb whatever they 'win' the title with this year - same with the drivers?
