No, mike. I think it`s just innovation but, like I said, it`s down to the FIA to decide.
If they pass it I`d be surprised if you don`t see it on most of the other cars in very quick time :o)
If they ban it then it will be interesting to see if there`s much difference in the McLaren`s handling.
Either way, it should be interesting to see what difference it makes to drivability of the cars.

Everybody thinks that the 'aifix' type model of LH shown on the TV is a mock up - wrong - it incorporates Wall-e [check film guide :-) ] technology and will be introduced by McLaren as a replacement for the talking LH in 2009. 'He' will be able to handle up to 10 paddles and 28 buttons simultaneously.
F1 will then be at the 'pinnacle' ;-).
