All Other Teams Beware! Do Not Underestimate Man Utd NOW!

After Man Utd 4-0 thrashing of Milan, anyone or any team still think they are weak without Ronaldo is sure to be a fool!

If any team want to beat them, it is time to stop assuming they are in transition losing Ronaldo, they are weak etc. These are all nonsense now.

In fact saying all these helped take the pressure and limelight away from them. People presumed they are weak so that they have no pressure now. Not wise.

Those teams who lost to Man Utd recently perhaps made a mistake thinking this way. It was quite naive. Man Utd still look as strong as ever with or without Ronaldo, or even with or without Rooney, despite having lost 9 games so far this season.

To beat them is never easy. But if any team want to beat them, perhaps simply just remember one thing: CLOSE THEM DOWN AND LEAVE THEM NO SPACE TO PASS, CROSS AND SHOOT.

Man Utd are quite strong with counter-attack. Teams should always keep that in mind as well. All these recent bigger teams - Milan, Arsenal and Man City failed to close them down good enough thus led to defeat.

To beat Man Utd, their 9 game lost should be good examples of how to do so. Just need to look back the videos how these 9 teams beat them this season. Those 9 teams are: Burnley, Liverpool, Chelsea, Besiktas, Aston Villa, Fulham, Leeds Utd, Man City and Everton.

From now on, underestimate them will pay the price. Just look at the miserable Milan. If not careful, they could win the TRIPLE again this season with no team stopping them!

    • For anyone to underestimate Man Utd, not now but even at the start of the season, makes you a fool.

I have said since the start of the season Man U will win the league and maybe champs league (but probably Barca). Most fans didn't realise that the main man has always been Rooney (as Fergie said). If you look at Man U's record in the last 2 seasons with and without Rooney it shows how important he was. Its like Van Persie for Arsenal but everyone talks about Fabregas.

Everyone with good football knowledge knew that Man U were favourites. People who said Man U were nothing without Ronaldo are narrow minded and weren't looking at the big picture. Rooney was always going to raise his game and other players contribute goals too, yes Ronaldo is class, but Rooney was always at the centre of every move and every goal Ronaldo scored. Thats why Ronaldo wants him to go to Real Madrid, people failed to realise Rooney's importance until this season.

    • Forget to mention one thing. Fergie preferred to use FIVE MIDFIELDERS + ONE STRIKER in almost all games this season.

Why? Most likely to take control of the midfield area. Their "congested" midfielders closed down all the space, pressured the opposition players all the time (especially Park and Fletcher). When they won the ball in the midfield, they quickly played counter attack. When they lost the ball, their midfielders quickly tracked back resulting 10 men behind the ball.

This "5 midfielders + 1 striker" is their secret why they can attack in numbers very quickly and defend very solidly at the same time. NO other teams in the world now use FIVE midfielders almost all games. Barcelona are somewhat close but Messi and Henry/Pedrov were in fact playing striker/midfielder role.

Without Ronaldo who seldom tracked back, their 5-men midfield perhaps has become mature as a team now. Fergie is smart in these.

To beat them, simply have to break their 5-men midfield first. Man Utd midfield is all about "closing down first, attack later" . They played the closing-down game well, other teams simply have to played it better.
