I know that when he first started playing for Liverpool, we had high expectations for him, and he dissapointed, especially when he limped off in Instanbul.
But to be fair, he had had an injury-plagued season.
Now, when I think of Harry Kewell, I think of this positive player we have witnessed the last couple of matches.
Does anyone else think that Harry is pulling his weight? and that we now have this great player in our squad? Who has earned back our respect? Well ... almost ... we need to do something about his hair! LOL!
The guy has been dynamite on our left wing for most of the season. He looks exciting every time he picks up the ball at the moment. I agree he does need his haircut though.
Do you reckon he's as good now as he was at Leeds?

I think he is nearly there!! he is becoming more confident, i wish he would carry on though taking people one!! get at defences a bit more!! but he is doing great!! nice finish today! keep going Harry! proud of the way he has come back!
take them on a bit more!! but he is doing fab!!!!
keep it up!!
i must admit that i had doubts after the champions league final which we won for the 5th time. however, i think he's playing extrememly well now - if we had the front pairing sorted we would be doing even better as the pundits keep saying - swp or mo are due over in the summer - that will mean that we have good right and left side ... and a decent striker for mori, crouch and fowler to tag with.
Kewell is looking sharp. With the support he gets from teammates, I think he will become a better player than when he was with Leeds. He is doing a fine job down the left.
The thing about his hair, I don't really care as long as he score goals for us.
The transition has been incredible and his determination to shut all his critics up and regain the faith of the fans has been unbelievable. Lesser players wouldn't have made it back at all. Harry had a strange spell when he arrived and never really settled in. Then he had that terrible year last year when, despite having serious injury problems, you got the feeling that nobody believed him! His form over the past two months has been remarkable though. We are now seeing the Kewell that was playing at Leeds and led us to buy him in the first place. Fair play to the lad for his effort and fair play to all those at Anfield who have kept faith in him. The rewards will now be reaped!
