The developments at ManU will be important to determine the shape of the top 4 for the coming season. If they lose Ruud, Ronaldo and Heinze it will depend on who they recruit as replacements. Give those replacements time to settle, if they have no EPL experience. As for Arsenal if they lose Cesc and gain Baptista that will be significant strengtherning on their part. Baptista gives them power in midfield which they currently lack. Also events in Italy could lead to a significant change in the EPL landscape as many good players become available either on permanent or loan transfer. Let's wait and see. As for LFC the only cogs missing in the puzzle are two players, a strong good striker and a right winger/midfielder. We should be able to get at least one before the beginning of the season.
I think we have a good set of strikers now. Bellamy brings pace, Fowler brings intelligence and goal-poaching, and Crouch brings height and link-up play. I predict that these players will score 55 goals between them in all competitions next season.
