Liverpool Message Board
he may be influential, in some games.
he may be a match winner, in some games.
but the amount of times he drops his head and sulks, like he did today, he loses more games for you than he wins. he is a shit captain.
he lost the game today for liverpool because it was HIM who should've been having a go at mascherano telling him to shut it, he did'nt and he deserved to get sent off. end of.
torres was the same, talking himself into the book. both had been warned several times by the ref to keep quiet, they didn't, get in the book.
only alonso tried to keep mascherano back, but not very hard, and he talks himself into the book for his second yellow. where was gerrard ?
it was only reina who stopped it being 6 or 7 nil.
no top 4 any more, just a top three. fight for fourth you shmucks.
I agree Gerrard went missing today..but the main issue is that Bennett the ref fell for the Ferguson mind games...he wasn't strong enough and the one sidedness towards the scum was unbelievable.
The first goal, brown climbed all over Skertel and all game Torres had lumps kicked out of him..ONCE AGAIN THE REF WINS IT FOR MANURE !!!

Andy W, sorry mate but no you're wrong, What about the penalty we should have had with Rooney, the overzealous shoulder charges on Ronaldo, and Mascherano sent himself of, he just did not know when to stop going on.
None of it anything to do with Sir Alex, Deal with it Liverpool where crap yesterday,Torres was apparently going to tear us apart, Gerrard to dominate us, Skrtel to thwart all threats, they were poor and if you don't believe me watch it again.

If some sad bastard put that sign up it was wrong, and proof that a sad bastard did it, that would have been the actions of a one or two, not the entire Manchester United following.
I left all that in the play ground years ago.
I do however enjoy a bit of friendly banter on here.
But I do agree Gerrard was nowhere to be seen in that game.
Reina, as rubbish as he is, saved their ar*es today. Rooney and Ronaldo will both be kicking themselves for not bagging a hatrick EACH.
Completely dominated the red shyte, the gulf in class between the two sides its unreal. Liverpool have cemented themselves as a small club now.

It's interesting that one result has the Manc Scumbags out in force on our boards. And scumbags they are ! What type of mentality would allow a football fan to put a prominent sign on the way to the Old Trafford stadium which read "96 wasn't enough" - how sick do a set of fans have to be ? M U were the better team today, no doubt ! Liverpool didn't turn up ! But to have fans like that ? No thanks -SCUMBAGS
